Western Slope Omnium
In 2008 Squadra Velocita and Two Rivers Cycling collaborated and organized the first annual Western Slope Omnium. The weekend of racing was based out of Glenwood Springs in mid June. The omnium included the "Rock the River Road Race" on Saturday and the "Glenwood Springs Criterium" on Sunday.
Planning is underway for the 2009 event with a twilight individual time trial being added on Friday evening. More information and online registration can be found at glenwoodspringsbeat-down.blogspot.com or www.americancycling.com.
